Program Mission: Students in the Software and Game Development program learn fundamental knowledge in IT Core while developing skills in Software and Game Development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Gamemaker V2, C#, and C++. Students have the opportunity to earn Industry Certifications during their time in the program while also earning college credits.

Nancy Kuzma brings 20 years of professional experience into the classroom! Her knowledge in Computer Science, project management, application deployment, and training development enriches the classroom experience for her students. Her passion for youth, combined with her management skills, creates a rich learning environment that students thrive in. Nancy holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Education from Aquinas College (deans list, cum laude) and a M.S. in Training and Development from the Ferris State University School of Education (deans list, magna cum laude). Nancy is a CIW Professional, Certified Microsoft Educator, Certified as a Project Manager from George Washington University, and has 20 years of corporate experience in IT.

Christopher Petta is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science from Davenport University. He is a CIW Professional, Certified in Site Development, Network Technologies, and Internet Business. He also holds an IC3 certification and an ETA Customer Service certification. Christopher Petta has been working at the Careerline Tech Center for the last five years, where he has provided assistance for the teacher, collaborated with support staff, and worked one-on-one with students to boost their comprehension and application of knowledge learned.
